AMD memory frequency

I'm having trouble with the memory frequency as it stuck at 1333 rather than 1600. I know XMP will help to get the frequency to the right speed but in AMD is different there is no XMP so can I get 1600?

Mobo: SABERTOOTH 990FX R2.0
Memory: Corsair Vengence 1600mhz 2x4Gb.

You will nee to adjust the memory frequency and voltage manually in the BIOS.

Page 3-8 of the manual shows the location of the memory frequency.

Looking at the manual it seems you will need to set it manually yourself.

Open CPU-Z and note down the settings for the 1600mhz profile. Then boot into BIOS under the "Ai Tweaker" menu change the frequency memory to 1600mhz and the DRAM timings to the correct one.

On my sabertooth with the same RAM I just went into the BIOs and changed the value from 1333MHz to 1600MHz in the AI tweaker settings.
