AMD Mobile CPU's

I've been looking at getting a decent powered laptop and really have it down now to between an Acer 6930 with the 1GB 9600 GT Card.
An HP Pavilion DV6 of some description or a Samsing R series laptop.
The best value one I've seen seems to be one of the HP laptops however it has the AMD CPU as opposed to an Intel one like in the Acer or Samsung.

Is there any major pro or con of an AMD mobile processer against the Intel varients?

Clock for clock they are abit slower in raw performance, and battery life might suffer too, but in real world terms you might not notice much difference in day to day use. If you want the best performance I would go with an Intel.
