How do we fix the screen not powering off and just going to a black screen? Any ideas?

BETA 6 didn't fix my memory idle clocks, still stuck at 1200mhz or whatever i oc the memory too.

Really hoping Beta 6 fixes the idle clocks issue for me. It's the only real problem I have with Beta 4's, everything else works great.

What software and method are you using to overclock?

Idle clock bug fixed here, including memory clocks.

Beta 6 didn't fix the idle memory clock issue for me. Still can't seem to drop below 600.

I've only had a few secs to read that, looks interesting,
I'v been usiung trixx for ages and since 12.8 just the idle clocks bugger up and 12.10/12.11 you get constant flickering when overclocked on trixx.

Have you done a factory reset in CCC?

The idle clock fix seems to have worked for everyone i knew with the issue.

Yes, I just tried a factory reset, absolutely no change.

Hmm well it looks like your core is clocking down correctly, is your voltage clocking down as it should?

Try putting the memory as low as it will go and see if that kicks it in to proper idle mode.

Overdrive should be disabled for a start, you've enabled it.

If you run that together with afterburner it could conflict. You shouldn't even enable it if you plan to use afterburner for overclocking.

lol i cant get overdrive to start it says its there then you click the tab and it vanishes :confused:

all i want to do is clock my card a little

msi ab i have to edit to get it to work
ati over drive dont work and even if it did limits are below what i can clock to
saffire trixx is borked causes weird artifacts makes stuff glitch out if installed :confused:

I have a question regarding AMD drivers in general:

Would i need CAPs for single card setup?
It's been a while since i've been on the red side.

I don't even install CCC because i don't want/need to use it and down't want overdrive installed when i have GPU Tweak.

sounds like your install is borked. uninstall drivers and overclocking software and reinstall again starting with the new drivers.

Dg you have so many problems you should be on Trisha.

Follow the guide and some of your problems will vanish.

Yes, you should install Caps and CCC. Performance benefits to using both. Of course you don't have to use CCC, but you should have it installed.
