I was considering buying the Sapphire Radeon R9 270X Boost OC 4096MB GDDR5 PCI-Express Card for £149.99, as according to the AMD website it comes as part of the Gold Reward Never Settle deal, thus you get 3 free games.

According to the Overclockers site it's only part of teh Silver Deal...

Can anyone from Overclockers advise what the score is with the deal?

Many thanks

That card is a VERY poor choice when you can get this for the same money.

Thanks for all the advice guys.

I picked this card out because the 270X seemed good value, and this card has 4Gb which might provide some future proofing for next-gen games. The 280 is a good card and is one I'm also considering, it's also in the deal according to AMD, but not specifically mentioned as being in the deal on the OC website.

I'll be gaming at 1080p, can't see my upgrading my monitor to 4K for a while yet. Mainly play BF4, Crysis etc.

The 280 is a very different beast to the 270, the difference in performance is a solid 25% and you get 3GB of Vram.

The 270 will not do BF4 on Ultra with good Frame Rates, the 280 will. its worth more than it extra £25.
