AMD Never Settle for CPUs??

The value of the FX6300 and FX8320 is literally through the roof.
I'm pretty sure this will be a move to get rid of as many CPU's and boards as possible (As I'm still of the opinion they're killing AM3+ off).

Either way, anyone upgrading from Phenom II or Socket 775 stuff, if they're not going K i5 or K i7, this is an absolute no brainer, and Intel could learn a thing or two to get rid of their 1155 stuff.

Shame this won't encourage a price war in CPU's, maybe a few one off deals here and there.

With the 780 Phantom at 399.99, I'd take one over the R290X personally, but I'd take an R290 over both at 350.
But that price movement is because of AMD (finally) showing their hand.

This'll be more reason for me to go AMD if Intel don't bring out a mainstream hexacore with Broadwell/Skylake, assuming Steamroller is great value.

Good move by AMD.

I do however feel that their games bundles, mainly GPU, would benefit from a bit of an overhaul.

A CPU price war would be a very good thing, it is a shame I think Intel will be drawn into one in the near future.

This would push me into getting shot of my Phenom, though the value of the games is not that great and I would sell them on. Wonder when it kicks in over here?
