Are we likely to see any price drops between April-May? I understand it's probably a bit of crystal ball usage but still, I'm looking to upgrade from the 660!

At the moment I cannot risk using my credit card until I know what my MOT will be during April. If the car needs a lot of work = no card :eek:
 
Slight drops on the top cards, probably get some nice daily deals at times.

but until the new top end cards are announced they will hold their value I think.

Exactly my thoughts, when the miners run them at 100% load and 100% fan 24/7. You're basically playing Russian roulette with your money on a miners card if they come up for sale in the second hand market.
 
Not sure I'd want to risk dealing with 2nd hand warranty, would depend on the card and brand in question I guess and the sellers willingness to help.
 
It will likely take an amd drop to push nv into dropping again, can't see anything significant though, I'd imagine all of the current crop of cards are selling well.

Pound coins in electric meter a tenner and it's full, plus the computer is only on from 7pm onwards ;) Hoping to move this year though :D
 
what cards did you have in mind? just wondered

I cant see any price drops yet,only mild deals now n again,need next gen to push current crop of cards down
 
Most likely the 280x, good enough vram for Skyrim and great performance, far beyond my overclocked 660!

780 is way to much, although the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 770 WindForce 3x OC 4096MB is appealing
