What the fudge. 16 cores. Only £600. Why does OCUK not have this. Explain yourselves!

Not that i'd want it for anything other than hosting multiple game servers, but still!

I know but the xeons are more likely to sell sadly, even then their stock is verrry low compared to other cpus as i doubt they sell that many. I remember arguing the case for Opteron cpus a few yrs ago from a major educational IT company, this was back in the glory days when the Opteron reigned supreme for performance, the guy who i was negotiating with never even HEARD of Opterons. To this day i think they've still not sold an AMD product.
 
I wouldnt mind a pair of opterons... But knowing AMD, surely an 8 core xeon would stomp it into the ground regardless? :rolleyes:
