AMD or Intel for ATI GPU?

Either will do, but if I'm right in thinking then 790fx based AMD mobo's can do a quad card configuration if you grab another 2 4850's down the line (however I have no idea how well a 4 GPU setup scales etc)
 
first thing how much u wanna spend? second thing do u want dual core or quad core? 3nd thing if u go for intel u will need to buy a x38 motherboard so the cards can run at 16x/16x which start from around £110 , if u go for amd a MSI K9A2 Platinum AMD 790FX gives u 4 gpu slots also it's £93.99 inc VAT.
