AMD Overclock and Temp Problem

AS5 takes around 200 hours for it to be the most thermally conductive. However this will only drop your temps by about 1-2C at most so I am not sure what the problem could be. Perhaps your WC setup needs time to bed in also?

I was thinking of Reseating the CPU again, but it would be much hassle, I'll let it bed in for 4 days or so. Then see what happens, very strange though :\. Also, if I do overclock it gets into Windows, then just restarts? Anyone know why that could be, temps rise to around 48c 50c.

If the overclock is unstable then Windows will most likely crash and restart.

Fixed, temp's dropped to 28c reseated the CPU and put a tad more AS5, can log into windows with my overclock, all happy and stable 8D :o
