AMD PC Build Final Check before order.

Nope Im going with AMD, although if I had a bigger budget I wouldn've gone Intel. But its got all mine needs so Im more than happy to stick with it. My components are coming on Monday so can't wait. Although I am struggling to find the samsung F3 at a good price. I wonder if I can use my old HDD for now from my old PC for now that is only 80GB?? ned to find out whether it uses SATA.

Hard drive prices have had a jump in price (see the "Latest news section) this is across the board, not just here.

You maybe lucky and find one cheaper on google, but all the major retailers have increased also.

Ok, I've just seen the Gelid tranquillo cpu and it doesnt AM3+ listed does it support it? am I starting to worry lol.

Found a Samsung F3 at £49 so I should snap that 1 in a few days. Will put some pics up probably tomo.

Btw is two fans enough to keep everything cool? one 120mm fan front and 80mm as exhast plus CPU cooler.

Oh damn my battery gone off, I've got 4 big screw and several littles one which one fits?

thx again

just saw some from my old mobo, so I know which one to fit in/

Should I leave the mobo on the table and install processor/CPU and RAM and then put Mobo into chassi and screw all standoffs?

keep the mobo etc outside the case and test there first if you can.

install your standoffs in the case, double check they match your mobo then double check you have screwed them all down.

put the memory in first then install your cooler.

Thx dude, just about resume everything. well the screw fit into the mobo so ill leave that out to test, so do I screw onto the case to make sure it fits? but not fully tighten it.
