AMD Phenom II - 4x2GB memory over clocking tips.

Right basically the setup is for my file server:

AMD Athlon II 250 -> AMD Phenom II X2/X4 @ whatever it does on stock V.
M4A78LT-M (Not LE!)
4x2GB PC3-8500 ECC DDR3.

Currently i've memtested for 13 hours at:

666MHz (DDR3-1333) @ 7-7-7-20 @ 1.5V.

Now, what voltages do I need to change to beef up the memory controller, memory voltage is obvious but the CPU has voltage controls for the memory controller no? (Was the case back in the socket 939 days!)

Ideally going to lower the timings as much as possible.

No idea if that board allows CPU northbridge adjustments. Going by Asus's layout on my own system it'll be "CPU NB" or similar in the BIOS. You've found ECC RAM that overclocks?

Well why wouldn't it? Not exactly astounding speeds but +133Mhz over stock with default stock timings (7-7-7-20) and volts (1.5V) passing 13 hours memtest86+ is not bad really, esp with four sticks!

I have:

CPU Over Voltage
VDDNB
LoadLine Calibration
Chipset Over Voltage
Memory Over Voltage

I think VDDNB must be the CPU NB V?

ECC is built for stability\reliability hence my confusion. Defeats the point a little, no?

True, however this memory was pulled from my Mac Pro, saving me £20-30 on the build.

I tested with ECC disabled so I know the system itself is stable, the ECC is more of a belt and braces + it was free kind of thing.
