Hi guys, just wondering what sort of overclock people get out of the AMD Phenom II 940 with C2 stepping i was hoping to get to around 3.6Ghz, but I've seem to maxed out with 3.5Ghz @ 1.475V (200x18). So yeah just seeing if anyone has any tips to see if I can get it a little higher and just want to see what other people are getting.
I've tried 3.6Ghz with 1.5V it's stable to boot but not under Prime95, Would maybe overclocking by increasing the FSB give better results?
I'm using a Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 Pro PWM for cooling.

Try a combination of FSB and multiplyer. In any case getting a 500Mhz increase is quite good.

How good is the motherboard in terms of overclocking?

hi im running a 940 using a asrock mobo got 3.6 by upping the multi to 17.5 and upped the frequency abit to 206 and as for the volts im on 1.389 and is safe as houses temps are super cool on load at 40 with all settings on games to high. very very low temps
