AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955

Hi guys,

I have an AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 955 and recently it's been getting a bit hot!

My PC has been on since 3 so 3.5 hours and already it's at 60C! I did play Dawn of War II for about an hour but that's it!

Should i consider getting a better CPU cooler as at the moment i am just using the stock one. If is should can any of you suggest a decent one at a fairly low price?

Clean the heatsink.

I had the same problem, I'd play Dragon Age and temps would rocket to 60c and pretty much stay there. Once they were at 68c (6 over the safe limit ), so I gave the fan and heatsink a good clean - back down to 36 idle, 50 under load.
