AMD Phenom II X6 Processor 1090t

Ive just got hold of one these magnificent 6core processors from AMD and have put it to work straight away running an smp client.
At present its currently running at stock but i will be looking at clocking the dogs danglies off it.
What im looking to find out is would this be able to run and complete the Bigadvanced units within thier time frame and gain all thoose lovely extra points.

No bigadv unfortunatly, needs 8 cores/threads so only i7s or better. You should see around 9-12k depending on WUs @ 4ghz though

big differance between 7k and 17k on the same wu?
what else are those systems doing?

not point getting a 6 core cpu if a single 460gtx will beat it ppd wise.

True, although that was an i7 920 @4.2Ghz

But if you had one of those you would just run bigadv for 34K

As for running bigadv on the Hex core Phenoms, some guys have done it but I think you have to download it on a 8 thread machine and transfer it across, but not really sure how they do it. But performance is ok at 4Ghz with a 1090T @ 25K PPD on a bigadv.
