AMD Phenom M8850 Triple core Gamer Bundle Help??

Hi all,

i am new to the forums , anyway i have just bought myself this:

and find there is no way to over clock the cpu's .... now when i look in my system it says 2.50Ghz and i know it can do so much more, in my bios there is MB Intellegent Tweaker but that only has cpu voltages, there is no way to change the frequency?

I have flashed the bios and all went well but still no option for cpu frequency, i also tried pressing ctrl+f1 and that done nothin at all.

My system is as follows.

Windows 7 (64 bit)
4GB 800mhz DDR2 RAM
800 Watt Psu
1 x 1TB SATAII HD
And the gamer bundle as shown above

Can anyone help me please? I have tried every tool around and none of them work, half of them do not even boot .. lol

I am also looking for overclock settings for the gpx card i got with the bundle, the xfx gt240 ddr5, here are the default specs for it right now

coreclock: 550
shaderclock: 1340
Memoryclock:1700

have you tried easytune6 it a overclocking and tweaking utility for Gigabyte boards. Its should be on the disc that came with you motherboard in the Utility section.

I have just read the manual for this board and cannot see any BIOS settings for changing anything except the voltage for the CPU so i would try the above.

Hi,

thanks for your post but like i said i have already tried all applications around, including easytune6 which does come on the disk, there are only options to overclock the gpx settings, and the cpu tab is just info, you cannot change a thing.

I am realy dissapointed, i bought an overclock bundle to overclock... and it will not let you overclock it.... wtf is the point ??
