if your saying about the above pic then no it's not 49c. u should be looking at tmpin0 or tmpin1 which in his case it's tmpin1 59c.

tmpin0 = motherboard

tmpin1 = cpu

don't go by core temp as it's wrong on phemin II's.

All i am worried about is northbridge, and thats been taken care of with thermalright HR-05 IFX + 80mm strapped on it. Temps are good enough for the 4ghz stressed, my worry now is aftermarket cooler for 580, shaman or accelero xtreme plus II are the best ones i found so far

tbh 59c for cpu is very close to the max safety limit, even tho no games would stress it that much....

as for the NB theres no temp reading for that. why u worryed about the NB ? IF it overheats it'll just shutdown

Been playing with the voltages, 1.45 in the bios, 1.46v on load

Not bad temps but want to go down the custom WC loop at some point to get more

If I were to buy a X2/X3/X4 C3 stepping, assuming it unlocks to a quad, what kind of clock speed is achievable under stock volts (which is 1.4v?) or maybe up to say 1.45V?

It's going in a file server which also transcodes videos for PS3 streaming, the X2 250 @ 3ghz isn't quite up to the job and I can't change the multiplier!

3.8-4.2GHZ I'd say as a target figure.
Though I'd be more inclined to say 4GHZ.

good friend of mine had a similar thing with his Cedar Mill processor, could probably have took a direct nuclear impact, 90+*C for prolonged periods for many years and it still works!

This new motherboard has helped also. It has some pretty sweet OC features!

Soon i should have new gpu cooler. Max temps i get 51c after 2hrs of prime 4140mhz. Its loud open case setup Soon will get 80mm fans out and swap for 120s. Wo i will end up with 4x120mm fans open case setup.

Wish my 1090T could do 4.1Ghz at 1.4v!

I want to get my 965 to 4Ghz. It is verry happy at 3.75 @ 1.375 volts which I have achieved by just upping the CPU Bus/ Peg Freq to 220Mhz.

Should I upp the voltage to 1.4 and up the frequncy till it hits 4? C3 revision with a good cooler.

You should be stable at 4Ghz at 1.4ish volts. give it a try.
