Well, it wasn't exactly their fault... They can always delay the launch but how would that help?

The "news" on some of these sites seems to be contradicting itself almost daily, wasn't it reported on friday or so that they were having no issues and would be out on time?

Would take it with a bit of salt. But...wouldn't be entirely surprised if there was a slight delay in getting it out to consumers. I rekon it'll be a week or two into November when we'll see the 6*** series readily available in the UK anyway.

They tend to just report what other sites are saying, I saw this a couple of days back but would wait for others to report it to see if there is any truth in it.

It has been said, rumoured!, that AMD are leaking a lot of info themselves to find out where the leaks are. Maybe this is just another one of those 'leaks'. If there was a problem with the design it should have been discovered ages ago and there really shouldn't be a problem on TSMC side as they are using a mature process.
