AMD Radeon HD 6990 - More details released

Not a flame but please could you state what use this is to any person here? The "enthusiast" thing is not really a reason, as I always say it is like buying a lamborghini maxing it out then using it for the shopping run.

Just trying to put it in perspective. :D

Is this a trick question? If not all amd 5/6 series cards can do this but if you want playable fps you would need 5870 2gb/6950 2gb/6970 2gb and would have to configure the settings properly in each game as maximum may not be achievable. There was a video review of the 5870 1gb on release playing on 3 monitors and it done pretty well but later on i seen some 5870 2gb benchmarks showing the 2gb did give a good boost to the fps sometimes doubling what the 1gb card managed so 2gb is probably essential if you want better settings.

As for nvidia theres no single gpu card that can game on 3 monitors.
