Finally installed mine after an epic battle to reconfigure my case to fit the blimmin Rad and Fan

In the end I had to turn my Cooler Master seidon 240m radiator around at the top of the case, and now I can't fit my Blu-ray drive back in because of the 240m radiator pipes

Small price to pay, I never really used the Blu-ray drive anyway.

3x4gb, might be a start to remove one of those and get the machine running dual channel firstly, you haveone bank in dual and another in single.

I'm not sure if frame pacing works for quadfire.

It lives!

What a mission to install it. I had to change the PSU too, but I didn't have enough room at the back for the GPU radiator, so it had to go onto the roof, which meant taking the case almost completely apart.

Still need to do some tests first.

Anyone know why GPU-Z wasn't displaying the GPU load when I was running BF4? I had Mantle enabled but I doubt that made a difference.

Memory usage at 1080p with 150% resolution scaling got above 7GB! Ultra preset.

Tried watch dogs at 1080p on my TV. Fps were dropping to below 30fps turning corners in the car.

Highest settings possible.

Is crossfire support worked in watchdogs? My 290x ran it better.

hmm weird 4k in dead rising 3 eats 12gb of pagefile 6gb ram and 7gb vram...............Somethings wrong here! My 3gb 780s could just about run 4k in it albeit at 40fps.

mirored memory, it uses half that per gpu, beside dead rising 3 is a port, that was just released, gonna need patch probably, and driver to optimize, i doubt the game has multi gpu support, but any port from console to pc will be overboard memory usage anyway .

4090 on 850w = BOOM

With nvidia 2 x 780s it never showed the total just the limit of 3gb. With this 295x2 it seems to show both added together as some games use 7.5gb. Damn though! Deadrising 3 maxed out at 4k is not hitting the vram limit at all it's quite simply running terribly because only 1 gpu seems to work. Need a crossfire profile for that

Disabled frame pacing and removed a stick of ram and in heaven I now get around 3700 when benching, so thanks for the help I will have a good play with it tomorrow when I have more time.

You still seem a bit short of par

Here is a 1080p quadfire run with my cards (290Xs) at stock and a 4930k @4.0ghz.

What are your PCI-E slots running at

Does overclocking your CPU make any difference.

Hi all.

Joined the forum today. Got my 295X2 through today, very excited.
Was worried about PSU load on the 12 volt rail so have gone for 1200w PSU.
I seem to be one of the few who ordered the 4K Iiyama monitor which also arrives tomorrow.

I expect my benchmarks will come in slightly under with my haswell 4770.
Seriously looking forward to the build, not looking forward to the electricity bill etc etc :)

Right managed to get mine squeezed in to my case fractal arc midi, think I may have to look at a new case as it was tight getting the rad in. Also they seemed to have made a massive effort to find the tiniest screws to use for fixing the rad to your case.

Other than that its a cracking card, and not much louder than my 290 at idle, a bit more noticeable at load but not by much, mine during firestrike didn't go over 66c with a score of 14411 with a i3570k @ 4.4 so not a bad score to start off with.
