It looks well it looks like a gfx card with a huge case around it and a fan. Nothing else, how boring. AMD advertising a new cool gfx card, needs refining. As if that was aimed at me id be like pff 1 fan, a chunk of plastic with no detail or heat pipes showing. Pff..

I genuinely thought this was a joke, like someone had used PS and pasted the fan into the single block as it doesn't look overly appealing.

If it has the metal sides with that plastic dimpled front plate, I think it will look alright.
Assuming it goes across the whole range, they could be on to a winner, on the looks front.

Now of course cooling performance is another thing all together, the 290x ran rather warm with the stock fan and shroud, if the 390x version is similar to this one, it looks like it might also run rather warm.

Not long to go till we find out.:)

I don't like the red 'Radeon' text but otherwise I think the cooler looks okay.

Shame it's a card we already have though. Just feels like a massive waste of time.

I wonder why stock coolers from nvidia and amd but more so amd i think have pretty crap looking and performing coolers i mean last time amd had somit like this the gfx cards were very toasty so didnt really cool very well then came aftermarket cooling which helped a lot i think for them. Why dont they just copy aftermarket coolers and have 2 fans etc.

Cost, this card is likely the price equivalent of a GTX 750 Ti. Shouldn't expect extravagant cooling, nor is it needed.

For a low cost GPU. This shroud / design looks nice. Expect higher end cards to come with more extravagant cooling, where it's needed. With flagship cards coming with AIO and custom air cooling.

Here's a reference 750 Ti from Nvidia for comparison. Notice Nvidia don't go all out on low end solution cooling either. I know which I prefer out of the two.
