It's a rebranded 270 is it not? but with higher clock speeds.

Yeah OEM Pitcairn, don't confuse with retail.

Cost, this card is likely the price equivalent of a GTX 750 Ti. Shouldn't expect extravagant cooling, nor is it needed.
For a low cost GPU. This shroud / design looks nice. Expect higher end cards to come with more extravagant cooling, where it's needed. With flagship cards coming with AIO and custom air cooling.
Here's a reference 750 Ti from Nvidia for comparison. Notice Nvidia don't go all out on low end solution cooling either. I know which I prefer out of the two.

The shader count per that table puts it firmly as a Pitcairn "tweak" though - 1024 to 1280 shaders. Only the 375 is Tonga based (1792 cores).
Disappointing if that is true as ultimately there will have been sod all movement from the original 7870 to the 370...
EDIT: Actually if that table is to be believed the 370 retail has less ROPS and a lower core & memory speed than the OEM model... FFS
I just realized "Grenada XT - 2816 Shaders - 1242Mhz - 218GT/s"![]()
That table is showing a 390X as a Fiji XT and no mention of the Fury so I doubt if it's accurate at all.

Look again its the 4th one up from bottom!![]()
I don't mind the looks. Its not particularly good looking, and not particularly ugly either.
Looks better than the old ref cooler, not bad, like the Radeon LED's

Sorry for my ignroance but is there a good idea yet and of what the 390, 390X and 'Rage' will actually be hardware wise or is it still up in the air?
