AMD Radeon to Showcase Latest Innovations in Virtual Reality and Gaming at "Capsaicin" Live Webcast

AMD have announce their new Sulon Q VR/AR headset, the world's only Tether-free VR solution with simple wear and play functionality.

This new headset will be powered internally by what AMD calls a "Console-Quality" processing chip, the AMD FX-8800P, a 35W unit with AMD R7 Graphics and 4 CPU cores. This SOC is fully HSA ready and is able to display visuals on a 2560x1440 OLED display.

This unit in theory combines the idea behind the Oculus Rift and the Microsoft Hololens, being capable of displaying both virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR)
