This chipset supports 38 PCI-e lanes in total by the looks of it. I thought the new standard was 40, meh.

only question is how to fit 4x 2 slot Gfx cards in! Custom watercooling maybe (oh the HEAT!)?

will this bring anything new to the platform? your pc is only as strong as its weakest component and until amd come up with something to truly rival core 2, this chipset will get overlooked, which is unfortunate...
