AMD RDNA3 unveiling event

The issue I have is I went full ITX and there hasn't been any improvements in the ITX space (max 210cm length) since 3060ti. Might have to wait until the 4060ti it seems... or change case which I don't really want to do :p

Yes!
Pulse 7900 XT = 2x 8 Pin with 331W TDP
Pulse 7900 XTX = 3x 8 Pin with 370W TDP
Nitro 7900 XT = 3x 8 Pin with 368W TDP
Nitro 7900 XTX = 3x 8 Pin with 420W TDP

Nice to see Sapphire kept Pulse 7900 XT at 2x 8 Pin though, means it will no doubt run fine on a 650W PSU upwards.

Hi Gibbo, will the Nitro+ and Pulse cards have a 3 year warranty?

Let’s be honest Nvidia doesn’t think that. It was a good excuse for them to use to raise prices.

Both AMD and Nvidia are attempting to set a new price segment of $1000 for their top tier cards. The actual price should be around $700 so I reckon if the 7900XTX beats the 4080 hands down then Nvidia will still have enough room to drop prices a fair bit. A price war will probably drop prices to realistic levels.

Sure, you're right.

This is only Zen 1 :) which wasn't that great either, but it proved the concept and started that ball rolling.
AMD did well in the CPU space even before taking the lead but this was down to much better pricing but on the GPU side nvidia is so overpriced right now that even with AMD being a few hundred cheaper it's not much of deal. Let's say the 4080 was £700-800 like it should be then where would AMDs pricing need to be on the 7900 cards to be considered good value for money?

Will there be a review thread created with all the YouTube links and reviews posted? Makes it so much easier to find stuff.

Its the same price as the last gen and 60% faster.

I don't like the idea of $1000 GPU's but AMD didn't do that, Nvidia did that 9 years ago.

You don't like it don't buy one, i wont be.
