AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX Review - Disrupting the GeForce RTX 4080
Navi 31 is here! The new $999 Radeon RX 7900 XTX in this review is AMD's new flagship card based on the wonderful chiplet technology that made the Ryzen Effect possible. In our testing we can confirm that the new RX 7900 XTX is indeed faster than the GeForce RTX 4080, but only with RT disabled.www.techpowerup.com
sure it is. And it's cheaper if you get the MBAIt isn't even competing with the 4080 really.

You could say that is the premium for RT and DLSS. All Nvidia has to do is slash prices by £100 and they are back in the game.trading blows with the 4080 for £200 less. doesn't seemed too bad to me. Still ALL overpriced, but yeah, could be worse!
That is the thing in all but maybe a handfull of games it is a lot slower or only just about matching the 4080. I was expecting with the bluster given about 10% of 4090 in Rsta. It is really not good. Not if you take RT into account, but we knew that. It's the mediocre rasterization numbers I'm surprised by: I was certain they be above 4080 in a notable sense.
Prices will be staying where they are now. Pathetic.
This is my feeling too, no mention of any hardware advances in RDNA3 bar RT improvement, seems they focussed just on getting the hardware/chiplets right.and it just doesn't have a feature set to compete with RTX.
