AMD RDNA3 unveiling event

Correct.
Caters to the same group who buy any halo card regardless.

LASTLY.

NO ONE CARES.

Only forumdwellers.
AMD is just cashing in like any other tech company is doing while it is high times tbh. And be as anti consumer as it can be or it can get away with reason before it drops its prices - which AM5 has seen already in the recent 4 weeks.

You have 9 pages of posts about Nvidia (180 posts)
You have 21 pages of posts about AMD (420 posts)

Just highlighting that... hopefully you're not spreading misinformation on purpose :D

The benchmarks I've seen show raster meets/beats 4080 or very close. And it's £200 cheaper.

The Nvidia shills are all over the AMD threads trying to sell Nvidia gpu's. The 7900XTX handily beats the 4080 in raster in many games. The RT performance is on par with a 3090Ti yet now they claim that 3090 RT is bad:confused:. You can't win with these clowns.

It would be imperfect to buy a Core i5 2500k and a 4090.

Yet to a person who is naive to performance but also how things work, 4090 go super duper, i5 is gud.

The real world outside of our weird hobby is vastly different.
We are technically the idiots too as we expect everyone to listen to us.

Hi bob, look at my shiny shiny! it so big, bigger than yours!

@fs123 show me one unbiased outlet with a decent average that backs up your claim.

More like none

Any unsponsored reviewer would have weighed average and clearly shows at best 7900XTX average on par with 4080. Handily is like focusing on game like COD alone.

Lot of Nvidia and AMD fan boy here

Love it that aggroing both camps
@humbug where does one stand when you are a neutral and giving it the facts?!

Based on his posts how would he know? :p

Hard to be neutral on this forum at times. I find some of the AMD boys take the view of if you are not with us you are against us.

Way I see it is I buy whatever I fancy at the time and could not give a toss about any of these companies.

handedily is like 10-20% in raster alone. I am sorry but 7900XTX is just not there with respect to 4080/4070.

Forgetting that Nvidia’s 4080 is actually a 4070 makes the 7900XTX even more of a joke.

At least in the previous gen 6900XT was faster raster than 3080 and had its place between 3080 and 3090. But now it’s pointless when it cannot compete with Nvidia’s 4070 renamed as 4080

Rape the mind, rape the wallet, rape the forum users through mental gymnastics.

Rape culture has seriously got out of hand.

-some nvideon transilicon probably.

All of the shill and troll aside.

The lack of competition from AMD is not good news for us!

That’s the key take away here.

For you AMD shills. Enjoy your block of bricks up the dark places for the stiff money.

Long live RTX 30 and 6800XT…that’s where my money would be if I was to buy one - certainly for second hand

Well the 4090 is priced way out of the league of most mere mortals, the 7900 XTX is competitive with the RTX 4080 if you are on the side of enjoying quality games that are not Cyberjunk twenty 77.
Oh and Portal RTX which is coded wrong and is not at all representative of Ampere or RDNA's performance.

Well if you want to play CP2077 in it’s full glory - in 4K simple solution - pay me to give my 4090 to you.

I am kidding- I don’t have 4090 or the latest gen. I am not made out of gold pressed platinum.

But you can just get the 4090 and be done. Cos that’s the card that can do it all and end it all.

I think it is clear that once the initial batch sell prices will not rise like has been the case with the previous few gens. With global economic melt down incoming and AMD having 200k of these card to shift it is going to be a tough time for gpu sales. What may happen is the reference cards are just never in stock so we are at the mercy of the AIB pricing.

I think in a years time the reference ( if available) 7900xtx will be selling for £750-800 (depending on what the AIB partners do with the pcb and cooling) and the 7900xt for £600. Lets be honest this is what they should be priced at anyway. Or alternatively AMD and Nv may keep these cards priced high and just not sell them so that they can slot lower specced cards in at certain price points to make higher margins in the volume market where they earn real money.

7900xtx (XT) is not necessarily THAT bad, is badly priced.

Hahaha once you are finished playing puddle reflections and glass simulator give FC6 another go you might just enjoy it :D:D

I finished it at launch and had a blast. Over 100 hours and recently played another 5 hours or so in HDR and looks amazing for an open world game. Certainly better than FC6 for me and I tried that with HDR too. Horses for courses I guess. But for me there is no comparison.

Looking forward for the expansion pack with İdris Alba :D
