AMD RDNA3 unveiling event

Seriously? Can you link me to show real world difference in gaming results thank you
AMD drivers aren't good in OpenCL that's why the scores in OpenCL are low, you can ignore it. The Vulkun results more closely represents gaming performance because modern games do use Vulkun, though obviously most use DirectX.

AMD's Vulkun performance also isn't as good as their DirectX but it's worlds apart from OpenCL. Using the Vulkun results suggests that the 6900xt is 5% slower than the rtx3080 and 3080ti is 10% faster , then checking TPU data average gaming performance is 5% ahead of rtx3080 and 5% behind rtx3080ti. So we're talking 5-10% under reporting range from geekbench Vulkun results when compared with average gaming performance at tech power up. So since geekbench says the 7900xtx is 20% faster than the 4080, it's probably 30% faster in games, on average

Tbf that article isn't using optimised drivers 7900xtx is slower than the 6900xt so we will need to wait for the real reviews.Theres no way the 7900xtx will be slower than the 6900xt

Where did you see it's slower? Looks 60% faster to me

Here is the score about 60% higher then. 6900xt

How big is that 4090 box.....some secret dual GPU model!?!?! :D

Look like UK will receive very few RX 7900 series cards.
Given we had no reference cards last time out, 'few' is an improvement. However the article doesn't mention the UK at all so I presume we're getting none, just like normal.

here we go with the artifical scarcity to raise up prices, when was the last time a gpu launched and people said dont worry lads we have ******* millions

Right so it's a non-story. Nothing has changed, no artificial scarcity in the UK, just the usual - and it sounds like actually AIB partners are bringing forward their release in China.

The alternative to launch stock being low is to sit on the cards while inventory builds up, but then people accuse them of paper launches and sitting on cards.

There seem to be a ton of bad rumours starting around the 7900's.

Not sure what causes this negativity, since there are no real benchmarks as far as I understand. Probably sponsored by NVIDIA.
