ok me just getting confused :p

Do you think its worth getting the x2900xtx when ive already got a x1900xtx would the difference be great.

well the x2900xtx is ATI`s first dx10 card that from what i see outperforms the 8800 so yea you will se a hell of a differnce but it depends on what you want it for ?

Has there actually been any benchmark results published yet, or is the "miles faster" comments still just speculation?

Jokester

speculation as per usual

Those results are dodgy, I had an identical system and was getting 10% more at stock with a 8800GTX, so it's somewhat untrustworthy.

However, if we look back at the testing done with ATI’s new R600 chip, a successor of the XBox chip, we can tell that ATI did their homework very well, even though we had to work with a corporate test sample and a (surprisingly stable) pre-driver release initially designed for Windows Vista.

nice 'final R600 specifications' that link had no information on unified shaders, amount of shaders, what makes them better than G80s shaders
