AMD reloaded promotion is pretty false

I have only received one e-mail from AMD so far saying they are no longer giving out crysis 3 keys however I found a forum post stating that it seems that the issue is some sort of glitch in the way in which the codes are delivered, and they say they are trying to hand the codes out manually, which explains why some folks have their keys, and others don't. It also explains the delay on keys.

Here is the forum post I found:

Just want to let anyone know, if you had planned on buying a graphics card, and thought the promotion of free games was a good offer with the high end Radeon GPU's, you may as well not bother.

They haven't sent out keys for crysis 3 in a good while (2 weeks in many cases) and the keys they have sent out are used keys, which come up with errors.

They haven't sent out any Bioshock or Tomb Raider keys yet either, although they are of course still to be released so maybe there is some hope.

I just wanted to let folks know.

Nothing to do with overclockers, they just sell what they are allowed to sell via the promotions.

Poppycock, I and plenty others got their keys ok, just because there is a glitch in the system doesn't mean it is "false" (whatever that means).

The Bioshock and Tomb Raider keys haven't gone out because the games aren't near enough to release yet.

I got all my keys ok, apart from bioshock which isn't out yet. The keys I have had all work perfectly including crysis 3.

I was lucky enough to get both reloaded offers so I got hitman, farcry3, sleeping dogs, crisis 3 and bioshock.

Still waiting for my Tomb Raider/Bioshock Infinite keys but previous Never Settle Promo Codes all came through in time. As long as the TR one is here by Monday and the BI is here before release then I'm happy.

Had everything free from AMD redeem just fine, ranging back from the Dirt 3 promo up to the current reloaded promo.

As I posted in the games section... It wouldn't surprise me if someone figured out an SQL hack to spit out all the keys and now the hacking community are lording it up with all of AMD's keys.

If AMD even had a whisper that someone got hold of the key set then the entire promo would be put on hold, as they did when someone robbed a few million Dirt 3 keys. As soon as they realised they had been compromised they put a lock on their current batch of keys making them useless.

Got my Crysis 3 key working without a glitch. The first poster should speak for his inability to use computers.

What a moronic non sequitur.

You should probably speak for your lack of ability to use logic?

As an update, and I will update my first post, it seems that the issue is some sort of glitch in the way in which the codes are delivered, and they say they are trying to hand the codes out manually, which explains why some folks have their keys, and others don't. It also explains the delay on keys.

The only correspondence I have had from AMD is that they are no longer providing keys for Crysis 3. However the above thread seems to contradict this?

I'll pop down anything else I hear from them in the first post.

ive recently bought a graphics card with these games, i have been able to get every code and also download the game no problems what so ever.
my crisis came the day after i entered the code,
tomb raider came today.
Bioshock im waiting on as its not released yet.

Also claimed x2 sleeping dogs, x2 hitman and x2 farcry 3 which all worked perfectly fine. :)

Stop being so melodramatic!

You dramatic title "AMD reloaded promotion is pretty false" is very misleading.

You will get your Key's just as everyone else will for as long as the promotion is running.

Stop being so melodramatic!

I don't really get which part of my post was melodramatic?

Those lines are pretty factual in accordance with my experience. I'm just letting people know what I know. I'm not sat here raging or anything. I am just passing info on.

Even spoke to OCUK to let em know for the future.

I don't know what the deal is, I don't think anything I typed was inflammatory?

It could be said that using a dead language (unless you are a priest) to make a point is also poor logic.

Well if I type something, and you understand it, that means it isn't dead by definition :P
