Hi guys,

I've spent half a day trying work out why a 7990 I have previously had working in Crossfire no longer has any of the options available to enable or configure it in the latest Adrenalin versions.

Is this a deliberate move on their part? Have to say I'm really unimpressed if it is.

GPU-Z, Device Manager etc all find the cards and everything is seemingly fine, the software just doesn't want to know.

Any suggestions?

Have you tried using DDU? these GPUs still support Crossfire, only AMDs latest Navi GPUs have lost the crossfire support for gaming.

Yeah did the whole DDU thing multiple times with many different driver variations.

Just got it working, for some reason changing from one PCIE slot to another (both x16) has got it working. No idea why, hopefully this helps someone else who is having the same issue.

Was it a motherboard you've not used for CrossFire before? I know that CF has to be built in / licensed, so I wonder if it's only enabled on certain slots. Like the main CPU-connected ones or something.

They are technically all x16, I wonder if the slot was damaged in some way as Crimson showed it as x1 although GPU-Z showed it as x16.
