One thing I'll point out is the second last sentence. Looks like they know it's not going to turn around immediately but hopefully they can get a good footing after next set of cards. Hopefully we don't need to repost Q4 results later down the line since we know it's not going to be that great and AMD already hinted to this.

Another loss of $197M in Q3.

Not surprised AMD still found it very hard to sell APUs, wrote off LLano, Richland few years back so now they wrote off Kaveri, Kabini and Temash for $65M. They still struggled to sell ARM Seattle CPU as there was still no demand near a year since they delayed ARM CPU. Nobody interested in AMD future ARM CPUs and APUs so they should cancelled all ARM projects and focused on x86 projects.

Not sure about AMD spinning off ATMP operations, AMD now has around 9000 employees so after unloaded ATMP operations along with 1700 employees then AMD will have around 7300 employees in 2016. We have to wait and see if this will help AMD balance book. Wonder what $320M will invest in? Maybe accelerated to finish Zen CPUs on time.

At the end of Q3 AMD had $755M cash after paid off $74M in bills and debt interests. If we look at Q4 AMD prob will have around $681M cash then in Q1 2016 AMD prob will have around $607M cash and they will breached $600M ring fence cash that will be no longer protected their creditors in April 2016 and AMD will be in huge trouble with creditors that could see AMD in default.
