I had a board fail on me a couple of weeks back and take out the IMC on the CPU ( Athlon II X4 620), would it be worth attempting an RMA with AMD for a new chip.

Likewise with the gigabyte board in question, not sure on the board as burnt VRMs will indicate I killed it with over zeleous overclocking
