Hey folks wondering who is looking at upgrading to one of these GPUs and what your current GPU is?

Only a few more days until we get benchmarks

Me personally looking at getting probably the XT just upgraded my monitor for 70 pounds as got my new one in Black Friday sales for 50 pounds off gone from a 2560x1080 144hz to 3440x1440 165hz
The picture quality is so much better but my 2070 super does struggle a bit to run games on ultra but high settings with DLSS quality seems to be doing the trick.

Let me know your thoughts and which model you like the look of the most.

I will be looking to get one if A it’s less than £1k and B the ray tracing is at least as good as the 3090Ti. Currently on a laptop (980m) which was convenient for my old place as I had no room but now I have space I can get a desktop.

Currently have a Radeon VII. Although it still performs well enough, it can't make full use of the 4k 165Hz monitor I have, since it supports neither DSC nor HDMI 2.1. Even if it did, it can't run >60Hz at 4k in many newer games anyway.

I skipped the Radeon 5000 series because they weren't any faster. I skipped the 6000 series initially because of availability and ridiculous pricing, and then it didn't seem worth buying one when the 7000 series was just around the corner.

I can't be sure until reviews and real prices are available, but the 7900XTX looks like the best value. I didn't want a card >300W, but I expect a bit of tweaking can bring it down. A >2x increase in performance over the RVII will be nice.

I'm looking to upgrade my RX 5700 along this route and looking to see what would be a good pair with my current 3700x. I know I may need to upgrade my RM650 already and I'm prepared to upgrade the CPU too. So, I may not be an early adopter of the 7900's.

I have a RX 580, and looking to upgrade, so the uplift is massive. The only question is, pricing.

But I've got lots of options to move between if the price is too high, and GPUs are probably the most changed item in my inventory, never lasting the entire lifetime of a system before it gets upgraded at least once. So I can always wait and grab another to tide me over in the mean time.

On a 6800 XT but considering an XTX to help reach the higher refresh rates of my monitor. Will be waiting to see whether AIB versions with higher power limits are worthwhile, and to see the performance in general. The 4080 has performance I'd consider a worthwhile upgrade (especially the RT) but not at it's current pricing.

Depends on performance. Currently got a 2080Ti in one rig and a 2070S in another.

Thinking the XTX might be good depending on retail price, but am in no hurry to jump and splash the cash until we see what the real world performance is.

I'm looking to upgrade my 1080ti to a 7900XTX. It's been a rough couple of years with the chip shortage @ 1440p.

I'll be looking to pair it with a 7800X3D and one of the new OLED 27" 240hz monitors when they're out (if they're good)

Cant wait.

7900xtx was on a french website earler, cant say who as there is a uk equivalent but was priced at 1319 euro including VAT for reference design sapphire card, prices are just crazy this generation

I promised my little brother my 3080 before i saw teh prices of next Gen CPU's, really wish i hadn't done that but he is in no rush so i shall just hang on 6 months and see what happens to prices

Probably only the xtx will be that fast in ray tracing
