AMD RX MINING SERIES FROM SAPPHIRE !!

why 4 and 8 gig vRAm for mining though? What am I missing?

the faster the Vram the better.

also some people are missing that these cards have no video out ports, which ruins the resale value. At least with mining on graphics cards you can sell it after Ethereum crashes and recoup some money. These will be worthless as you cant do anything with them? Unless its a second card in crossfire i guess.

pictures wrong then as they do in the pictures :P

People modify the BIOS on regular cards anyway, on a reference RX480 8GB you can just dump your BIOS, copy and paste the 1750MHz RAM timings over the 2000MHZ timings and flash it back to get an additional 3-4MH/s.

Any reliable guide to this that you could link, please? I have a couple launch day 8gb rx 480s and would love to squeeze a bit more mh out of them.

Plus a lack of display ports.
So selling these on won't be easy after the crash, At least not to gamer's.

these cards are stupid lol the reason miners buy gamers cards is because they will still be worth something afterwards.. these will be junk especially for resell also the 1 year warranty is a laugh imagine a big company with millions worth of rigs.. they will be worthless within 1 year if they die

these cards won't sell.. they may have done 3 weeks ago but today no way also its not even in stock which makes it even worse lol if I was sapphire id change them quick to gaming cards or face having a bunch of unused cards sat in boxes.. hey I guess they could mine with their own cards lmao

200 pound card for 450+ wow.

The weird part here is... if people are wanting these cards so badly, then AMD's profits should be really climbing as they sell more and more cards. Supply and demand and all that, but if AMD can't keep up with demand and STILL don't make a profit, there is something seriously wrong.

It pretty much is now, very large crash in the crypto market in the last week, it may rebound or it may not but I wouldn't bother investing now unless you have money to burn.

+1 Just over 2 weeks ago I was making £8-10 per day mining on my single 1080ti but today I'm lucky to hit £2 - £2.50 per day. Stopped mining this morning
