AMD RX Vega 64 length?

Has there been any news if RX Vega 64 is any different in dimensions from Vega Frontier Edition? I'm mainly interested in the length.

Vega Frontier Edition is 10.5" long:
https://www.overclockers.co.uk/ocuk...ion-water-cooled-graphics-card-wc-17p-tl.html

That is 266.7mm.

If you'd like to know the reason why I'm asking this question, read on:

I'm planning a build with:
Fractal Design Define Nano S ( http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/define-series/define-nano-s )
280mm Front Radiator (45mm thick EK-CoolStream CE 280: https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-coolstream-ce-280-dual )

I'd like to have the 2x 140mm fans inside the case. Fractal Design says the maximum length for the graphics card with front fans mounted (without a radiator) is 315mm. If you add a 45mm radiator to that, it leaves 270mm for the graphics card.

The RX Vega 64 would be in a loop with AMD Ryzen 7 X1800.

Reason going with the 45mm thick 280mm EK's rad is that it fits with very little modifications to the case: https://www.reddit.com/r/watercooli...irst_watercooled_build_fractal_design_define/

There are 2 options that I can see here:
  1. The RX Vega 64 is < 270mm long and I can use the front dust filter that comes with Define Nano S case as I can have the air pulled through the front radiator into the case. I can also mount a 120mm radiator at the back for exhaust. This way I don't have to open the top of the case and I can use all the sound dampening materials + dust filters. - the preferred solution.
  2. The RX Vega 64 is > 270mm long and I cannot mount the front fans inside the case and have to get rid of the front dust filter and place them there. This way I'd have the front as exhaust for easier cleaning. This opens up the option to use the top of the case for another 240mm radiator (intake), but there is no room for another 120mm radiator at the back.

So to put it short:
  1. 280mm + 120mm radiators + dust filters + sound dampening - preferred.
  2. 280mm + 240mm radiators + no dust filters + no sound dampening.

I'll be ordering RX Vega 64 on 14th of August regardless, but it would be helpful to know the length of the card beforehand so I can buy the rest of the parts at the same time and start building the new system.

.. if the card is > 295mm long, then I cannot get Fractal Design Define Nano S case and have to get something else. Also, knowing how hot AMD products run normally, going with a stock cooler on the GPU would probably make it throttle, like the Vega FE. - hence the water cooling choice.

Anybody has any insight on this?

Is it weird that the Gigabyte are DP 1.3, Sapphire are DP 1.4 and PowerColor doesn't say. Also PowerColor board is 283x130x40mm no?

Wow! Just wow! How on earth did you find this out this quickly? And these are official pages too! Thanks a million! This information must have just come out as I had been searching everywhere.

.. so how tight can that Sapphire be  if everyone is accurate (case, gpu and radiator) and that cooler doesn't add any extra to the board size, then it is 2mm too long. Maybe I'll shave 2mm off the radiator if I have to and make a small 2mm dent/slot where the end of the gpu goes.

Thanks again!

Lol at sapphires picture for crossfire that's funny xD

To be fair, combustion probably occurs anyway :p

Keep in mind that although they advertise putting the fans outside and losing the filter as an option, they are really choked by the front panel as the vents are on the sides and access to them with the fans there is ***** up....it's also louder.
At least that was the case with my Define S build and I barely managed to squeeze in my Alphacool UT60 with fans inside, the big D5 with Glass Res from EK and a graphics card (300mm ones still don't fit....)

Thanks for the heads up with the front fans. In all builds that I have seen with that case where the fans have been placed outside, they look really crammed to me. Yeah, no doubt they would be louder too, like you said. That's why I would REALLY like them inside, and a nice dust filter is a great bonus.

I'm also planning a pump+res combo, which would sit above the graphics card, mounted on the back wall as the case even provides mounting brackets for it.
