AMD Ryzen 3 3300X with Wraith Stealth Cooler.

Hi

I'm looking at buying this CPU, however I have been advised that the stock Wraith cooler is pretty poor, what would be a decent upgrade for this cooler and would water cooling be an option? I had been looking at the £50-£100 kind of price bracket or maybe more as a future upgrade.

I heard it was okay and you'd get away with using it if you're not overclocking, will be noisier and hotter obviously but usable.

if not get a noctua nh-d15 they should release any possible future mounting plate kit changes for free (if you have a receipt) or you can buy for cheap anyway.

D15 might last 15 + years, I got an nh-d14 and they even support that for socket changes.

Spending £50-100 on an HSF for a 3300X puts you in the price bracket for a 3600, which is a better buy.

The larger AMD stock coolers (wraith spire or wraith prism) are actually fairly decent options and can be picked up for £10-£15.

Spending £50-£100 to cool a budget CPU seems a bit excessive, as above it would buy a better performing CPU in the first place.
