This is what my daughter has at the moment in her rig,the question is what would be a good cpu upgrade and the bios is probably the original one when it came out,i want to update the bois do i just grap the newest one or do i have to do it in stages with other bios

Could go for Ryzen 7 5800X3D? Typically fine to go straight to 5502. Do a bios reset before and after flash.

Yeh cpu sounds good,ill do that with the bios,i was worried that i would need to do a step by step bios update with older ones first.

5700x3d is much better price to performance than the 5800x3d .
