I did the jump and have ordered one ....thank you all for info on this help me a lot ....To the OP, I did a similar move yesterday after umming and awwing for a few weeks and reading many, many threads about whether the upgrade is worth it or not. In my case, it was moving from a Ryzen 3600 to the 5800x3d, this with 32GB and a 3060ti playing at 1440p on a 32" monitor.
It is a substantial and noticeable improvement and I wish I'd done it sooner. Get on with it OP
