Always update for new CPUs. Chipset, BIOS, Windows, etc.
Well whenever I change mobo/platform, I basically reinstall from scratch always, but as this is literally just a drop-in CPU replacement, I wondered what was necessary beyond the BIOS.

Is anyone experiencing problems with core temp on the x870 and 9800x3d? Mine is constantly reporting a core frequency of 1666mhz no matter the load, it seems to be reporting temperatures correctly
