AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D

Another quick question, would it be recommended to format windows if I'm going from a 7950x to a 9800x3d? Also, is there anything special I need to do to get the most out of it, I remember when it first came out I found a video about changing some settings in either BIOS or windows, but I can't for the life of me find it now. I know the 9800X3D got it's own AGESA update. I think you need to update your BIOS prior to installing the 9800X3D. I used the flash-back feature on the motherboard I bought since I didn't have another AM5 CPU and it went smoothly with just the 24 pin plugged into the motherboard.
