Oh I'm getting a 9950X3D too, along with Apex when released. Work system will get the 9950X3D (currently using a 13900K) and gaming only system will get the 9800X3D.

Apex? Wasn’t that just for Intel?

I’m interested now, even though I’ve just ordered the X870E Hero and 9800x3d until the 9950x3d comes out.

My 5090 might take 12 weeks to come in so I could change .

Any release date for this?

Was previously only for Intel, but as AMD CPU's are now so popular, they're making the first Apex board for AMD.

Release is March I believe, should be good!

I had the Z790 Apex, only thing I didn’t like was the colour (white)

Should land nicely for the 9950x3d release.

Take a look at these also, PVVR564G600C30K, can be had for reasonable price, seen them at times close to £160.

IMO better bin of RAM then the G.Skill, but has RGB.

F5-6000J3040G32GX2-TZ5N are 30-40-40-96 1.40V (42mm height)
PVVR564G600C30K are 30-40-40-76 1.35V (43mm height)

Slightly tighter XMP/EXPO profile, lower voltage.

I confirmed with an owner on OCN that they are SK Hynix A die (like the G.Skill), link.
