Think it was sub £330 last BF?
With Jedi Survivor.
Talk about false advertising. You may not remember the original PC turbo buttons that downclocked the CPU

I'm thinking of getting one of these. My PC is really old hat.
To try and future proof as much as is possible, is there an X870E motherboard with dedicated 16 lane PCIE 5.0 that would also support 2x PCIE 5.0 SSDs and has full Wifi 7?
I was looking at the AsRock Nova Wifi, but then I saw it didn't really have full Wifi support. Something about lacking 320mhz mode.
Lowest I have seen it on OCUK was £315 and that was back in June. Unsure if it will get any lower than that@Gibbo - 7800X3D, any info on further price reductions? Hoping for around £300... wishing?!?

We can all hope, I do wonder if they lower the cost of the 7800X3D it may impact sales of the 9800X3D when it comes out next weekHoping, wishing, praying?
Thanks, that is very comprehensive. All of the MSI X870E and non E boards have a Qualcomm Wifi 7 module that fully supports the 320mhz band.
Specs of every motherboard in this Google spread sheet: (scroll right to see the quirks of each board). With USB 4 also eating PCI-E lanes, just about all of them have compromises in one way or another.

The Godlike seems to, by disabling USB 4.0. if you populate a specific slot.None of them will support x2 PCIE 5.0 SSD's. You will have to go for the older X670E for that. Reason being AMD are mandating USB4 on all X870/E chipsets which uses the lanes that were being used for a 2nd NVME slot on the older chipset.
You might get a board saying it has a 2nd slot through the chipset, but the chipset only connects to the CPU through a 4x PCIE 4.0 connection so it will never do those speeds.
Interesting, I had not looked at that board because of the very UN-Godlike price of it. The spec sheet on their website doesn't mention the tradeoff at all as far as I can see either. The Godlike seems to, by disabling USB 4.0. if you populate a specific slot.
