Had that years ago with the Original Oculus rift. I wasn;t home but neighbours saw the amazon driver leave the parcel on my doorstep and drive off, my door is directly on a main road. :/ Driver claimed I signed for it and took it inside. after about a month of fighting with amazon they finally admitted the only mark on the signature page was an X and then after another week or so the driver admitted he had left it on the doorstep as he thought I was home.
It was suposed to require a passcode as well but that was clearly never entered.
 
Hi there

We placed our orders on three UK distributors - all UK based and unfortunately all have their stock delayed by customs, clearance is expected any day and once they arrive with them they shall be with ourselves the following day, we have 500+ due and all been well they will start turning up next week.

I have actually ordered 10,000 plus so hopefully we will see a few thousand more this side of Christmas. :)
