The 4090 was also a larger jump over the 3090 than the 5090 is likely to be over a 4090.probably not, the 4090 was easy to get due to the price, expected price of the 5090 is rumoured to be 2k so I wouldn`t think they will sell like hot cakes.
Yes and it was `only` £100 more plus it runs a lot cooler too. It was an absolute walk in the park to get compared to the 3080The 4090 was also a larger jump over the 3090 than the 5090 is likely to be over a 4090.
Contact customer services - https://help.overclockers.co.uk/hc/en-gb@Gibbo how do orders for the CPU work that included another product that is now out of stock? For example I ordered the CPU with a Crosshair X870E Hero which was in stock when I placed the order but is now out of stock presumably due to today's launch. Has the one in my order been reserved for me at this point?
My order was at 14:07 and the site told me everything would wait to dispatch until the CPU was in stock. I had assumed that meant the mobo was "held" for me since it was in stock when I placed the order.Contact customer services - https://help.overclockers.co.uk/hc/en-gb
Also I guess depends on if the mobo comes in before your CPU is ready to ship - What time did you place your order?
You should be in the first round for the CPU then (some time next week from what @Gibbo has said), CS will be able to confirm if you got the motherboard before they sold outMy order was at 14:07 and the site told me everything would wait to dispatch until the CPU was in stock. AMD have previously 'done' game bundles when they needed to add value to a proposition that wasn't entirely compelling in its own right i.e. they were worried [insert thing you want to sell] wasn't going to sell well enough at their specified pricepoint.Just an enquiry, AMD have done game bundles with new product launches in the past. Also, don't you mean "be glad OcUK didn't price it higher?"
£520 nowThe white rose has gone into full urine extraction mode at £499.99!
In my case, a shift in work focus. Workstation is currently using a 5950x, 128G RAM and it's been an absolute rock over the last 4 years. I skipped Zen 4 in part because there seemed to be a lot of folk dealing with DDR5 issues early on and a lack of large capacity kits. Had I stayed in my last role role I would likely have been eyeing up a Threadripper system instead...Don't know why people are rushing to buy...
