So first of all let me wish you good luck for tomorrow.
So another launch and another shape, due to time constraints and how crazy busy we are from the 9070 GPU launch, we knocked something together a little quicker, but scroll down to see our impressive traditional pyramid. We did plan to build a 3D pyramid as we have enough stock to do so (several hundred) but time constraints meant we kept it simpler.

We know tomorrow demand will far outweigh initial supply of these chips, so you will need to be quick to secure one, please read buyers guide below.



Anti BOT/Script Measures in place:
As such we are also trialling some new measures to help keep the website alive and also stop BOTS/Scripts from placing an order, in short to make it clear:
  • 1pc per customer
  • UK & Ireland ONLY customers ONLY
  • Website will start blocking known BOT locations, so were only getting genuine UK traffic
  • A new queuing system is been implemented so when customers are on the website it remains responsive for a smoother checkout experience
  • Various other traffic calming and anti BOT measures are in place
  • Once stock sells out, we will continue to take PRE-ORDERS and the price won't change, hopefully this will help deter any scalpers. However if pre-orders go insane, as in several thousand we will have to stop taking pre-orders
  • We have several hundred in stock, but we expect the stock to sell within minutes. When they sell out, 20-40 minutes later we shall re-list on pre-order so you have not missed out but those ordering on pre-order will have to wait several weeks until they get their processor. So ONLY order if your happy to wait, we will work very hard to fulfil orders as quickly as possible.



Ordering Advice for quickest checkout process:
  • Be signed into your account or have your details ready to copy and paste in
  • Pay using a debit/credit card
  • DO NOT use Amazon, or finance (AMAZON PAYMENTS WILL BE DISABLED, it simply causes too many issues)
  • DO NOT order anything else with your order, just the GPU
  • Select DPD Next Day shipping
  • Download the DPD App, updating your preferences and information
  • Join the forums and/or Discord channel for stock updates and information
  • Do not reach out to customer service for more information, unless you have critical amends needed for your order
  • Setup an OcUK account and sign in, do not checkout as a guest and ensure your emails from us are not going into your SPAM folder.



SUMMARY:

All products shall go live available for order around 14:00 tomorrow, so do be checking the website around that time, do not hammer F5!

To try and prevent this, once our on hand stock is sold out.
10-20 minutes later we shall re-activate the product on pre-order, so people will still be able to buy them but of course there shall be a wait time of upto potentially several weeks.

We do have several hundred but this is such a power processor that everyone is going to want it, from gamers, streamers, editors and professionals so were expecting to sell out, but we shall then take pre-orders but probably only upto around an additional 1000 units.

Nobody really needs more than a 9800X3D for gaming and yep I agree the 9900X3D makes little sense.
9950X3D is a monster but its more a productivity/creators part who don't wish to pay professional prices. :)

We have an email from AMD at 12:47 about the last minute change.
I read it at 12:53 and copy and pasted it across forums and discord to try and warn as many customers as possible.
We launched at 12:59

We had hundreds and all sold by 14:15, AMD's timing miss-hap in a way gave a lot of people a better opportunity as traffic to the website at 13:00 though busy was OK, at 14:00 traffic ramped considerably and 15 minutes later they were gone.

You can pre-order and we have more due in tomorrow/Friday. :)

Our aim is to ship all the orders today!

We literally pre-packed all the processors yesterday to go out with DPD.
So all we have to do today is slap address labels on.

We are efficient, that AMD Sapphire 9070 XT BORG CUBE I built out of the worlds largest stock pile of Pulse 9070 XT seems to have assimilated and adapted our servers and hence today has been spot on, we dropped close to 500 more 9070 XT's the website stayed alive and we have the new 3D CPU launch and the website was perfection. :)

Happy days, if you don't get a DPD notification by end of day drop CS a message tomorrow, also make sure you have the DPD APP. :)
