Just to separate it from other stuff I created a new thread for this.

Do you use it ?
Would you recommend it to other people ?
Any idea how it works in comparison to "manual" overclocking with the bios etc.

The tool itself seems to be interesting, especially for people like me who are very new to the whole topic of overclocking.
I would appreciate if you can post your experience with this tool :)

greetings from vienna.

looking forward to seeing how this works myself, i would like to put a oc for gaming and switch back to stock for everything else

^this
but since i´m not experienced with OCing in general I was not sure if switching between different setting could harm the cpu or something

Personally, ive always been a bios overclocker, but I can understand where you are coming from if you are new to overclocking, one thing to remember is that with software overclocking, the overclock itself doesn't actually take effect until windows has finished booting and the app loads and does its stuff, Windows boot for bios overclocks is actually a good benchmark test in itself, it uses a lot of resources and if it blue screens then you know you've pushed too far etc.

However saying that, the app would be a good place to start to familiarize yourself with different settings etc and then stress test, once you've hit your maximum overclock and passed stress testing, write the settings down on a piece of paper and apply the overclock in the bios.

Not with this new tool, it is all done on the fly. It is really is a decent tool, saved me a lot of time rebooting and re-entering the bios.

I only use it to read the CPU temp.

Also, whats with CPU-Z reporting my vcore at 1.286v but Ryzen Master says its 1.187v?
