Hello,

I have finished building my new PC, Im using a AMD Ryzen Processor which came with a STOCK CPU Cooler with thermal paste on the heatsink.

When I first start the PC will the processor heatup and melt and spread the thermal paste, I dont want to fry the Processor it cost over 200 pounds.

Thanks

Modern processors protect themselves from overheating.
It was first implemened by Intel during NetBurst/Pentium 4 fiasco...
Because some models were pretty much overheating even without any load with stock coolers being equally crappy as that architecture.

And most of those stock coolers are sized for use like web surfing/word processing and can't cope full loads without noise.

As above^

AMD stock coolers are absolutely fine with the pre-applied paste. Way better than the stock Intel one. They can be a bit noisy though.

The AMD stock coolers are perfectly fine and can definitely handle whatever processor you have. However if you plan on doing some intensive gaming or work, or overclocking your CPU then you would definitely need an upgrade. If you were thinking about upgrading, for an air cooler I'd recommend the Nocturna NH-U14S as it is a great cooler for the price. However if you would like an AIO then I'd recommend the NZXT Kraken Series, as they perform very well, and in my opinion I think they look the best out of all the others!
