Hello, my first post and straight to the point.

My setup
MSI X370 Gaming Pro Carbon
Ryzen 1700

So question is about the Load Line Calibration on auto mode.
I overclocked Ryzen 1700 with just increasing cpu ratio. Everything else on Auto.
I was comparing what the voltage does on LLC= auto mode vs manually choosing between LLC= modes 1-8. I use HWInfo on reading values.

On my board the LLC= mode 8, does the most vdroop and LLC= mode 1, the least or none.
LLC= mode 8 would be the best to use if I can, to make sure the voltage spikes won't destroy my cpu or board.

So what happens to LLC when I overclock only by increasing cpu ratio and LLC is auto mode?
If the LLC is on mode 1 as the cpu is doing the most of it and then comes idle? Can the board decide to increase LLC mode onto another mode before the voltage spike hits or is it too slow?

I mean is it safer to give the LLC some setting manually than let it be on auto? Because while LLC on auto mode there isn't vdroop on load.

And I haven't got quite clear explanation what LLC on disabled does? Does LLC on disable equal mode 1? or maybe mode 8?
