Hi I'm currently running a amd rzyen 5 and want to upgrade but can't choose between these to. Im running a 2070 super gpu and 32gb 3400hrz ram. Generally just looking to make the best set up for gaming. so the question between these two what would be the best and why? Thanks in advance for all feedback,

Im running 144 fps and cant recal the resolution of the top of my head normally its on the highest possible. Just looking to upgrade as I'm a bit of odd person and want a white motherboard as my whole build is white based and thought may as well upgrade the cpu to

Obviously the 3950X, even more so if it’s a drop in upgrade.

If money isn’t much of a concern then maybe an 8 pack binned 10900, really highend Z490 and proper water cooling setup?

Just get a white x570/b550 mobo then and upgrade to 4th gen ryzen when it comes out if you feel the need.

Unlikely to see much gaming performance difference with a new cpu (above 1080p anyway) , much better off getting a stronger gpu if you want to run games maxed out - wait for next gen though as it’s just round the corner now
