AMD shows off 1 Petaflop Project 47 Rack based system

Just wanted to point out that this is an actual product that will go on sale. Will be interesting to see how many of these they sell and how strong VEGA will be for them in this area.

I'm curious as to how much this costs. Not that I could afford it though.

It will be far more than the parts. Inventec will be making a lot of money per sale.

A Tesla P100 costs £5k. Imagine having 80 of those plus 20 £4k EPYC chips.

It doesn't use P100 but MI25. (Vega GPUs).

Given isn't that different than Vega FE, is passively cooled to expect reduce costs, plus business pricetag. So 1000-1500 tops.

Wouldn't be surpriced if the whole system was less than $800,000
